South Sudan’s Flood-Affected Communities Remain in Need of Resilience Support

On 1 November, reporting on humanitarian operations highlighted the continuing need for flood preparedness and livelihood protection, with FAO and WFP support aimed at helping communities prepare before floods damage livelihoods. No new South Sudan-specific project award or funding amount was confirmed in the report for 1–7 November. The situation creates opportunities in climate adaptation, resilient agriculture and emergency supply planning; HPC can support environmental assessments, project feasibility research and climate-finance opportunity mapping.
